Angeningo Theatre Group, Pangani, Tanzania, 1997. The Angeningo Theater Group performs a play about HIV and AIDS at a fishing village near Pangani. The actors were recruited from the jobless youth in Pangani by the local hospital and were also trained to work as peer educators. This play is done in the local tradition of community theater and involves extensive audience participation.
