"Aviatrix Amelia Earhart's original interest in clothes designing consisted of cutting men's flying costumes down to fit her slim figure. Now, selling through stores all over the country, she announces a fifty-piece collection of sports clothes. Particularly she likes to use airplane fabrics and parachute silk, twist airplane engine parts into dress accessories."
Although Earhart did not design the clothes herself, she was actively involved in their production and made suggestions regarding colors and materials. For a variety of reasons, including the general economic depression, the line folded at the end of the year.
