Robert Lyons


Robert Lyons has been involved in photography for over 25 years. He has taught widely in the USA and Europe. Presently he is a guest lecturer at the OstkreuzSchule in Berlin. His work has been widely exhibited in the United States and Europe and is represented in numerous permanent collections including: Addison Gallery of American Art, The Metropolitan Museum, Seattle Art Museum and the Henry Art Gallery at the University of Washington. Robert holds and B.F.A. from Hampshire College and an M.F.A. from Yale University. He has published numerous books most recently, Intimate Enemy: Voices and Images from the Rwandan Genocide-Zone Books 2006. He lives and works in Berlin, Germany and Western Massachusetts.
