Ivana Larrosa

Ivana Larrosa is a visual artist from Spain living in New York City. She creates video installations and performance in response to spatial environments, often merging elements of fantasy, humor, and daily life into performances and photo-based objects.
Her work has been shown at Anthology Film Archives, International Center of Photography, The Exponential, Queens Museum, The Center for Fine Art Photography, Espacio Aglutinador of Havana, Plana Space in São Paulo, Spanish National Museum of Sculpture, and Galeria Sicart, among others. Larrosa has received several grants and numerous photography awards and has curated shows for Save Art Space and Plaxall Gallery in New York. She is a performer and collaborator with the collective, The Commons Choir, and recently performed in Generator: Pestilence by Allied Productions at La MaMa Theater in New York.
Ivana holds a BA in Film and Media Studies from University of Navarra (Spain) and a Master of Fine Arts at Bard College-International Center of Photography (New York), where she was awarded the ICP Director’s Scholarship and currently teaches video installation and performance.
