G Giraldo
G. Giraldo started making photos in 1996 and has never been outside a darkroom since. This journey has taken him to live and work in Florence, Italy, Barcelona, Spain, and his native New York City. His work has appeared in Vibe magazine, Vibe Vixen, Uptown Magazine, Italian Vogue, Vogue Casa, D - la Repubblica delle donne, and La Cucina Italiana. G. has also worked as a photo editor for La Cucina Italiana and Uptown Magazine.
He has always been passionate about sharing his experience through photographs and storytelling. In 2008 he began teaching at the International Center of Photography’s (ICP) Community Partnership, ICP at THE POINT, as well as ICP Teen Academy. In 2012, he joined the faculty at Saint Ann’s School as a photography instructor. He continues in both programs today.
