Cara Dellatte
Cara Dellatte is the Director of Collections and Library Services at the International Center of Photography (ICP), a position she assumed in October 2024. With two decades of experience as an archivist, curator, librarian, and visiting professor, she has built a career dedicated to the preservation, interpretation, and accessibility of cultural heritage materials.
Cara earned her Master of Library Science from Queens College, where she also completed a certificate in Archives and Records Management. She is currently completing her second master's degree in history at the College of Staten Island, deepening her expertise in historical research and archival practice.
She recently curated the exhibition Equal Rights Amendment: A Century of Speaking Out at the New York Public Library, highlighting her commitment to public history and social justice. In addition to her work at ICP, Dellatte serves as a visiting adjunct professor at the School of Information at Pratt Institute, where she teaches and mentors emerging professionals in the field.
