Explore photobooks from the ICP Library and connect with fellow photobook enthusiasts at ICP's Photobook Club. This session of Photobook Club is hosted by Craig Mathis, Director of Distribution and Bookstore Operations at Printed Matter, showcasing a selection of artist-made books in the ICP library and personal collection.
The Photobook Club takes place in the ICP library on the last Saturday of each month. This event is free to attend with RSVP.
About Speaker
Craig Mathis is the Director of Distribution and Bookstore Operations at Printed Matter, Inc. Craig manages their Chelsea flagship location, is the primary buyer, contributes to programming events, and conducts presentations for universities, high schools and other specialized group visits. Prior to joining Printed Matter in 2017, he served as Operations Manager at powerHouse Arena, a 10,000 sq ft bookstore, events space and gallery, located in DUMBO, Brooklyn from 2007-2017. When the spirit moves him, zines and other paper ephemera are sporadically released under the moniker 'Forlorn Productions'.
About ICP Library
ICP’s reading library contains over 20,000 books and periodicals. The reading room is currently open to the public during ICP’s monthly Photobook Club, to researchers by appointment, and to members during Library Member Hours.
