Neighborhood Tour and Workshop: Photography on the Lower East Side

Join the International Center of Photography (ICP) and the New Museum for a neighborhood tour and photo workshop in the Lower East Side.

New Museum Teaching Artist Rosed Serrano will lead a tour from the Bowery to Essex Street, highlighting the homes of photographers Robert Frank and Weegee, among other stops in the neighborhood.

Then, at ICP, take part in a photo workshop with ICP Museum Educator Carlos Nunez, creating expressive self-portraits inspired by Weegee: Society of the Spectacle.

This tour meets, rain or shine, in front of the New Museum at 235 Bowery. Please come dressed ready to explore the neighborhood streets.
