Jon D. Smith, a deeply dedicated leader and supporter of ICP, died suddenly on February 11 In Millbrook, New York.
 
Jon Smith served on ICP's Board from 1997-2020. He was a beacon of passion, purpose, and inspiration for achieving ICP’s mission. His legacy and light shine on in the many lives he influenced, especially through his heartfelt commitment to ICP’s education programs–from our Community Programs students to our One-Year Certificate alumni, empowering the next generation of storytellers and change agents using photography. He brought wisdom,  integrity and active engagement to his role as a trustee. All of us at ICP are deeply grateful to Jon as well as to his wife, Wendy Smith, for their longstanding dedication to and continued impact on our mission and future.
 
Jon was 77 and he is survived by his wife of 27 years, Wendy Smith. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
