Join us for the opening of 2020 ICP-Bard MFA candidate Ian (ewai) Hunt’s self-titled solo exhibition, ewai, at the ICP-Bard MFA Studios in Long Island City.
ewai focuses on accessing and expanding moments of creation as an ends-unto-themselves. The multimedia exploration reveals its concepts through mental solitude, sensory deprivation, physical limitation, and exacting process.
British artist Ian (ewai) Hunt moved to New York in 2017 to study photography after a twenty-year career as a senior technology leader. After graduating from the International Center of Photography’s One-Year Certificate Program in General Studies, he began the ICP-Bard MFA program. Ewai received his BSc in Ecology and Conservation at Sussex University in 1994.
