Curated by ICP’s Creative Director David Campany, The Great Acceleration presents over seventy works by Edward Burtynsky, including iconic photographs, never-before-seen images, and monumental ultra high-resolution murals. Together, these works offer a sweeping exploration of the ways in which human industry has profoundly transformed the planet, from resource extraction and agriculture to transportation and urbanization.
Panjereh by Sheida Soleimani, curated by guest curator Elisabeth Sherman, features more than forty works that weave together personal and political narratives of displacement, resistance, and care. The exhibition includes new close-up analogue photographs of rehabilitated migratory birds, alongside her signature studio tableaux incorporating archival material, symbolic props, and portraits of her parents, all reflecting on the fragile journeys of bodies—human and animal—across borders.
