For Oliver Gagliani, photography was the essence of his soul and the form of his creative life. Even at the age of 83, Oliver Gagliani could be found most days tirelessly printing in his darkroom, working on his latest images and cataloging a lifetime of finished prints. After a career spanning sixty years in photography, he passed away in 2002. His work has been exhibited in a one-person show at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
