Join us at the ICP Library to celebrate the publication of ICP alumna Rita Leistner's Looking for Marshall McLuhan in Afghanistan and to view her short film Miklat (Shelter).

Miklat (Shelter) is part of an on-going multi-media project called Portraitscapes of War: Landscape and Identity in the Levant (Lebanon, Israel, Palestine). Looking for Marshall McLuhan in Afghanistan sheds light on old and new technologies, on a failed war, and on some of the things that connect us as humans.
