Join us for a special walkthrough of Memory Remains: 9/11 Artifacts at Hangar 17, part of the Remembering 9/11 exhibition, with guest artist Francesc Torres.

Memory Remainsis a digital projection installation of 140 photographs taken of the more than 1,500 artifacts removed from the World Trade Center site and preserved inside Hangar 17 at JFK Airport. Torres photographed twisted steel beams, crushed emergency and civilian vehicles, the remains of an Alexander Calder sculpture, store merchandise and displays, ID badges, and other objects. The work was commissioned by the National September 11 Memorial Museum.

The walkthrough is free with the price of admission to the museum.
