International Center of Photography Announces 2015 Infinity Awards Winners
The International Center of Photography (ICP) is pleased to announce the honorees of the 2015 Infinity Awards including Graciela Iturbide, who will receive the Cornell Capa Lifetime Achievement Award at the gala event on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers, in New York City. “We are thrilled to announce the recipients of the 2015 Infinity Awards,” said Executive Director Mark Lubell. “We look forward to honoring this incredible group of artists, who demonstrate the range of image-making today. Using tools as diverse as drones, transmedia installations, and a Rolleiflex—they show us the power of the image to offer new perspectives, inspire discussion, and communicate ideas.”

Infinity Awards
The Infinity Awards are widely respected as the leading honor for excellence in photography. The awards are also ICP’s largest annual fundraiser and support all of ICP’s programs, including exhibitions, education, collections, and community outreach. Since 1985, the annual ICP Infinity Awards have recognized major contributions and emerging talent in the field. Each year, a group with wide-ranging professional expertise nominates potential Infinity recipients; winners are then chosen from among the nominees by a Selection Committee. The Cornell Capa Lifetime Achievement and Trustee winners are selected by the ICP Board of Trustees and senior staff.
