ICP Announces One-Year Certificate Scholarship Awards

The School of the International Center of Photography (ICP) has announced the 2011-2012 ICP One-Year Certificate Scholarship Award recipients. These students are pursuing certificates in Documentary Photography and Photojournalism or General Studies.

“We congratulate all of these outstanding students. The Scholarship Committee had a very difficult time selecting from the high caliber of work submitted. We thank each student who presented a portfolio for review. It was exciting to see advancement in all aspects of the work and the projects presented,” said Phillip Block, Deputy Director for Programs and Director of Education, ICP.

The One-Year Certificate Programs in Documentary Photography and Photojournalism, led by Chair Alison Morley, and General Studies, led by Chair Marina Berio, provide advanced students with an intensive yearlong course of study that strengthens personal vision, teaches professional practices, and explores the many disciplines that inform media and art today.
