ICP Announces Activities Commemorating 9/11

The International Center of Photography (ICP) has announced several activities commemorating 9/11:

• September 8: A Members Preview of its Remembering 9/11 exhibition at 7 pm; the exhibition will be on view to the public September 9, 2011 through January 8, 2012
   
• September 9: A book signing with Remembering 9/11 artists Francesc Torres, “Memory Remains” and Eugene Richards, “Stepping Through the Ashes” at 6 pm (voluntary contribution admission)
   
• September 9: A public opening of its alumni exhibition Ten Years After at 6 pm in the Rita K. Hillman Education Gallery featuring: Marian Benes, Pamela Berkovic, Pablo Casares, Gloria Chung, Giovanni Del Brenna, Teiko Dewa, Martha FitzSimon, Kathryn Gamble, Ben Hoy, Ray Klimek, Christopher LaMarca, Oz Lubling, Maria Mayer Feng, Stacy Mehrfar, Johan Spanner, and Jonathon Wells
   
• September 11: Free admission from 10 am to 6 pm in the museum galleries
   
• September 11: Free tours every hour from 10 am to 6 pm in the museum galleries conducted by Museum Educators and Gallery Guides
