Looking west on Pine from Water Street and across Pearl. The tracks of the elevated train running along Pearl can be seen in the lower foreground (behind the man's head). Bounded by Pine, Cedar, and Pearl Streets, the City Services (now AIG) Building at 70 Pine was the third tallest building in the world when completed in 1932. The Equitable Building is visible in the far background (right side of Pine).
