1998 Infinity Award: Lifetime Achievement
Naomi and Walter Rosenblum are the recipients of the 1998 Lifetime Achievement award
Naomi and Walter Rosenblum have made innumerable contributions to photography, individually and through their collaborations. Naomi is a historian and author whose books include A World History of Photography and A History of Women Photographers. Walter was a combat photographer in World War II, during which he documented the liberation of Dachau. His later work chronicled the immigrant experience in America. Together, the Rosenblums have curated many exhibitions, including “America and Lewis Hine" at the Brooklyn Museum.
