The International Center of Photography offers photography instruction in partnership with several other education institutions.

Partners

Barnard College

Barnard College: All students currently enrolled in Barnard College are eligible to take up to two ICP classes per semester (excluding special courses such as travel courses or individual mentorships). Students will consider photography's role in sociology, journalism, scientific research, and the fine arts.  In addition, through these classes, students may have access to ICP’s photo labs and darkroom.  The partnership is made possible by generous support from the Milbank Fund for Photography.

St. John's University, BFA Photography

The St. John's University BFA degree program in Photography introduces students to a variety of possibilities within the photographic field and further allows them to structure their photographic studies towards their career goals. Photography majors are required to take ninety-six credits in art and photography, of which thirty-six credits are taken during their junior year at ICP.

Marymount Manhattan College

Marymount Manhattan College offers Art 347 Photography Study in New York, a course designed for art majors or photography minors, at ICP. Students may register for a maximum of 12 credits cumulatively within ICP’s Continuing Education Program.

Pace University

The Pace-ICP Program offers seven undergraduate courses that combine studio practice at ICP with writing, publishing, and portfolio development for Pace University students. These courses compliment the photo curriculum offered on the Manhattan campus of Pace University where the university offers a BA and BFA in photography and other studio and digital media practices.

Ringling College of Art and Design

Ringling College of Art and Design (Sarasota, Florida) offers selected Ringling students an opportunity to study at ICP, in conjunction with the Creative Practices program, for one year.
