Guided Gallery Tours

Visitors who are interested in a guided experience are invited to join our public tours, which are offered free with admission. Gallery Guides—who may be staff members, interns, or ICP graduate students—lead visitors through the galleries, providing artistic, historical, and technical context for the current exhibitions. At the same time, Gallery Tours also provide opportunity for audiences to share their own ideas, and engage in discussion about the exhibitions.

Schedule
Sunday, May 27: 3 pm
Tuesday, May 29: 3 pm
Wednesday, May 30: 3 pm
Thursday, May 31: 3 pm
Friday, June 1: 3 pm
Saturday, June 2: 3 pm

Guide by Cell

Guide by Cell audio tours provide visitors with access to audio tours through their own cell phones. The only cost to visitors is their minutes. Guide by Cell tours are recorded by the exhibitions' curators and allow visitors to hear a behind the scenes perspective on selected exhibitions.

For the summer 2012 cycle, Guide by Cell audio tours are available for Christer Strömholm: Les Amies de Place Blanche, President in Petticoats! Civil War Propaganda in Photographs, and Gordon Parks: 100 Years.

School

Information sessions about our One-Year Certificate programs in Photojournalism or General Studies and ICP-Bard MFA program are held every Friday at 3 pm.
