The Robert Capa Archive

The Robert Capa Archive at ICP is the most comprehensive collection of work by one of the greatest photojournalists of the twentieth century. The collection contains the complete holding of the photographer's career, including over 2,300 vintage prints, among them his celebrated photographs of the Spanish Civil War and World War II. Cornell Capa (the photographer's brother and the founder of ICP) and Edith Capa gave the majority of the work to ICP. The archive also includes papers, publications, negatives, and contact sheets.
