Upon his passing in May 2008, the Trustees of ICP established the Cornell Capa Legacy Fund as a vehicle to honor ICP's founder and ensure that his legacy lives on by supporting the institution to which he devoted his life. Joannie M. Chen was a gifted photographer who passed away in 2006 after her battle with leukemia. To honor her spirit, her family and friends created The Joannie M. Chen Fund for Education.
