INTERNSHIP

DATE: March 2008
DEPARTMENT: Library
TITLE: Digital Slide Collection Intern
SCHEDULE: Minimum of 6 hours a week; at least 3 hours a day, 2 days a week. NOTE: In addition to their regular schedule, ICP interns are encouraged to participate in occasional education events (will be announced).

SUPERVISOR'S TITLE: Library Assistant

DESCRIPTION
The library is looking for individuals to scan existing slides for the Digital Slide Collection, which is used by ICP instructors for class presentations. The interns will be scanning slides in the Digital Media Lab using Nikon scanners on Mac computers.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
Some college

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
• Knowledge of Photoshop is necessary
• Experience with scanning preferred
• Requires proficiency with Mac operating system
• Ability to work in a lab setting, with minimal supervision
• Interest in photography
