As a privately funded nonprofit arts and education organization, ICP's ability to present photography's extraordinary power to the public is due in large part to the generosity of friends such as you. For ICP to continue to grow and succeed in its mission, such support is vital.
Create a Scholarship
Give the gift of education by creating a scholarship in your name, or in memory or honor of someone dear. Your support will assist enormously in giving deserving and talented students from here and abroad the opportunity to receive a world-class photographic education by defraying some of the burden of tuition. Scholarship funds help maintain diversity and provide promising photographers from a range of backgrounds with extraordinary skills and education.
Scholarship funds can support full-time students in the General Studies or Documentary & Photojournalism programs, graduate students in the ICP-Bard MFA program, or young students in our Teen Academy program.
The Joannie M. Chen Fund for Education
Joannie M. Chen was a gifted photographer who passed away in December 2006 after a two-year battle with leukemia. To honor her spirit, her family and friends created The Joannie M. Chen Fund for Education at ICP. Contributions to the Fund support photographic education at ICP, helping to foster self-esteem and empower young students, as well as nurture photographers transitioning into professional careers. The goal is to create a permanent endowment in Joannie's name so that her legacy is carried on. Learn how you can help.
