Meet the Artist: Mona Kuhn

Meet the Photographer: Larry Fink

FOCUS Members joined Larry Fink as he shared highlights from his rich photographic career and talked about his latest book, Somewhere There's Music. The book's images span from the 1950s to 2006, capturing the cool heights of the Beat era, from Harlem's famous Lenox Lounge, where you can almost hear John Coltrane with his sax, to the Village Vanguard, where Sonny Rollins and Miles Davis made history.

Young Patrons' Reception and Ecotopia Exhibition Tour
Wednesday, November 15, 6:00–8:30 p.m.
FOCUS Members joined over 130 other young patrons from Avail Art, Guggenheim, Japan Society, Museum of Modern Art, and New York Opportunity Network for a special reception and viewing of the groundbreaking exhibition, Ecotopia: The Second ICP Triennial of Photography and Video.

Studio Tour for FOCUS Members
Monday, October 30, 6–7:30 pm
FOCUS Members attended a studio tour with acclaimed photographer, Timothy White. He presented his collected works of over twenty-five years of commercial and personal work. Guests had the opportunity to tour White's renovated carriage house studio and view his vast archive of celebrity portraits, fashion, travel, and vintage car images. Guests were also shown a special preview of his anthology of music photographs on exhibition at Morrison Hotel Gallery in mid-November.
