INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Mock Job Interview

The Internship Program invites eighteen motivated teenagers to advance their photography skills and develop an awareness of the creative and professional possibilities in the field. This yearlong, weekly program provides interns with guidance from some of New York’s best teaching artists; field trips to museums, galleries, and studios; college-prep workshops; pre-professional assignments; mentorship opportunities in the field; and full access to ICP’s facilities. By the end of the program, students will have created an extensive portfolio, including an artist’s statement and résumé, and be honored in a group exhibition at a downtown Manhattan gallery. See a slideshow of works by last year's participants. This program is best suited for students looking to pursue photography further in college and/or as a career.

This program runs from October 4-June 19 on Thursdays from 4:00-6:30pm. The deadline for applications is September 4.
