December 2010

Eli Sudbrack (GS99), aka Vivid Astro Focus, has an installation at Wynwood Walls, Art Basel Miami Beach, December 2–31. Sam Falls (MFA10) has a solo exhibition New Work at the Fotografiska Gallery in Stockholm, Sweden through January 9, 2011.
Andrea Star Reese (PJ08) won second place in Visura Magazine's 2010 FotoVisura Awards for her work The Urban Cave. Honorable mentions went to Alinka Echeverria (PJ08) for Cuba 1959: The Second Front and Tiana Markova-Gold (PJ07) for Isolation, Vulnerability, and Courage. For the Visura Magazine Spotlight Awards, Ilana Panich-Linsman (PJ09) placed second for Fifteen, and Susan Falzone (PJ09) was among the top finalists for Grace.
Paula McCartney (GS96) has an installation A Field Guide to Ice and Snow at the Center for Documentary Studies' University Gallery at Duke University through December 23. Photographs from her series Bird Watching have been acquired by the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Photography.
Mauro Resiffe (GS95) has been awarded a 2011–12 Civitella Ranieri Visual Arts Fellowship, which takes place at the Castle Civitella Ranieri in Umbria, Italy.

Tadej Znidarcic (PJ07)was selected for the Moving Walls 18 exhibition, which will open at the Open Society Institute March 16, 2011.
