The International Center of Photography issues the following statement regarding plans for new sites in 2015:

The International Center of Photography has chosen to move from our current museum site in January 2015 in order to develop a space that reflects our vision and the explosive growth of visual communications.

Our founder, Cornell Capa, saw ICP as being at the forefront of conversations about the role of images in our society and we remain at the center of these conversations nationally and internationally.

Our executive director Mark Lubell says:

“When I joined ICP, one of the exciting opportunities was to be able to move from our current location and develop spaces that enable us to expand and provide new experiences in new mediums. These spaces will be reflective of our programmatic plans and activities. I look forward to announcing the future sites this spring.”

The school will remain at 1114 Avenue of the Americas in Midtown, Manhattan.
