Moira Ariev Joins ICP as Deputy Director for Development

The International Center of Photography (ICP) has hired Moira Ariev as its new Deputy Director for Development. In this role, she will serve as ICP’s senior fundraising officer, managing a comprehensive program including major gift solicitation, capital campaign, alumni and visitor cultivation, special events, and foundation and corporate support. She will join ICP on January 15, 2013.

“Moira brings significant experience and exceptional expertise to ICP. I look forward to partnering with her to support board relationships, foster a shared vision for fundraising across ICP, and drive a culture of philanthropy,” said Mark Robbins, ICP’s Executive Director.

She is the former Vice President for Development and Government Relations at Repair the World, a national nonprofit promoting volunteerism and civic engagement by the American Jewish community. Previous positions include Vice President for External Affairs at Learning Leaders, Director of Development for Publicolor, Director of Special Events and Stewardship at NYU Medical Center, and Manager of Special Events at the ABC Television Network.

Ariev graduated from Harvard-Radcliffe Colleges magna cum laude and received an MA in Art History from Columbia University. She has volunteered in the New York City public schools and advocates on behalf of the schools and special education services.
