Robert Capa (1913–1954)

This comprehensive collection of Robert Capa material covers the photographer's entire career, and includes over 3,300 vintage prints, as well as negatives, contact sheets, slides, manuscript letters, and tearsheets. Among these collections are Capa's celebrated war photographs from the Spanish Civil War (193639), China (1938), and World War II (194045). Cornell and Edith Capa donated most of the work in 1993; additional material will be added in 2010 as part of Cornell Capa's bequest.
