Paul Diamond's Life On Earth
FEBRUARY 2–MARCH 11, 1979
Paul Diamond is an American photographer with a sense of the banal and a tongue-in-cheek attitude to match. His images of people and places are absurd, even vulgar, but taken together they form a picture of society that is surprisingly affectionate. This work takes on the nature of a diary, producing a wholly original point of view.
Fourth in ICP's "Insights" series, a showcase for contemporary photographers who are emerging as serious artists with a unique point of view.
