Gustav Klutsis and Valentina Kulagina: Photography and Montage After Constructivism

The exhibition offers a comprehensive presentation of the work of Gustav Klutsis, the pioneer of photomontage in the Soviet Union and an acclaimed graphic designer and poster producer, as well as the work of Valentina Kulagina, his wife and colleague and an innovative poster, book, and exhibition designer. The exhibition explores the creative partnership between the two artists and the political and cultural climate in which they were working. Curated by Margarita Tupitsyn.
