Schedule: 1–3 days/week, 10 am–2 pm or 2–6 pm; in addition to their regular schedule, ICP interns are encouraged to participate in occasional education events (will be announced)

Housing more than 20,000 volumes and a periodical collection numbers more than 50 titles, an extensive ephemera collection, the ICP Library provides a matchless opportunity for interns to participate in and experience the inner workings of New York City's only museum and school dedicated to photography.
Intern responsibilities vary from day to day, but often enforcing the library policies; organizing and shelving books, magazines, and DVDs; digitizing images and video; and filling photographic clippings and ephemera into the artist files in order to maintain our evolving ecosystem.
Solid communication skills, a high level of organizational skills, precise attention to detail, effective team working skills, and good IT skills. Must be familiar with FinalCut Pro.
Besides gaining invaluable experience at a premier cultural/educational institution; interns benefit from school credit (when applicable); are invited to attend ICP seminars and special events; and are offered the opportunity to visit other related organizations. Tuition discounts for ICP courses, workshops and/or labs are provided, subject to internship hours completed and availability.
