1999 Infinity Award: Special Presentation
L. Fritz Gruber was the recipient of a special presentation at the 1999 Infinity Awards
L. Fritz Gruber is a writer, lecturer, curator, collector, and founding director fof the photography exhibits at Photokina, the world’s largest imaging show held biannually in Cologne, Germany. Professor Gruber is also the initiator of the German Society of Photography, as well as an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain. He contributed significantly to the recognition of photography as a major art medium throughout post-war Europe. The award will be presented to Professor Gruber in Berlin in the fall of 1999, at an event hosted by DG Bank of Germany.
