Lorie Novak's Collected Visions is a three-part slide and music installation that examines the representation of girls and women in family photographs. Her exploration of the snapshot has created innovated and engaging ways to look at family photographs as representations of both personal and collective memory. The computer-driven projected images are combined with overlapping spoken word and music. The software for the exhibition was created by photographer Jonathan Meyer. Music was composed by musician Elizabeth Brown and sound was designed by Clilly Castiglia.
