Don't miss ICP at Photoville! We have been a programmatic partner of Photoville since the founding of the festival and will expand our presence this year with an installation as well as two workshops led by faculty from the School at ICP. Photoville takes place in Brooklyn Bridge Park from September 1828, 2014.
This workshop, led by ICP faculty member Liz Sales, takes a quick look at the history, theory, and practice of pinhole photography with an emphasis on the technical relationship between camera-making and image formation. Each participant will leave with a camera (made from one of several objects provided), an image made by that camera, and an understanding of how to make a camera out of anything at all.
