Photographers Nanna Heitmann and Myriam Boulos conclude the Getting Closer conversation series, with a discussion centered on their recent projects and insights into their dynamic installations. Heitmann will present her ongoing work made in Russia and Ukraine, on view for the first time since the current conflict began, and Boulos will discuss her multi-year project capturing tender accounts of the private lives and lived experiences of friends and strangers set within the context of the collective losses and traumas that emerge amid economic instability, violent revolution, and the devastating Port of Beirut explosion in 2020.
