Join artist Marco Breuer for a lecture at the School at ICP. View his work in the upcoming ICP exhibition What Is a Photograph? opening January 31.

Marco Breuer is a German photographer known for his radically unconventional approach to the medium. Rather than employing the traditionally expected tools of camera, film, and negative, Breuer creates images with a combination of directly interactive processes, including photogrammic, incisive, and abrasive techniques.

Breuer has exhibited internationally and has works in numerous permanent collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Breuer is represented by Yossi Milo Gallery.

Due to professional obligations, lecture dates may change without notice. For more information, please call 212.857.0001.

The ICP Lecture Series is made possible by Duggal Visual Solutions, The Bernard Lee Schwartz Foundation, Inc., and by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
