December 2008

Marina Berio, Acting Chair of the General Studies Program, is featured in the group exhibition Back to the Drawing Board at Michael Steinberg Fine Art, December 4–January 3, 2009.
Deana Lawson, faculty member, was interviewed for Time Out magazine in issue #687.
Okwui Enwezor, Adjunct Curator, is featured in the Fall-Winter issue #8 of Fantastic Man magazine, in a fashion editorial shot by Terry Richardson.
Mara Bodis-Wollner and Shandor Hassan, faculty members, are in the group exhibition Random Utterness 2 at the Hungarian Cultural Center, December 11–February 6, 2009.
Nayland Blake, ICP-Bard MFA Program Chair, has a retrospective Nayland Blake: Behavior opening December 2 at Location One.

November 2008

Pradeep Dalal (ICP-Bard '05), faculty member, is featured in the group exhibition The B-Sides, November 22–March 7, at Aljira, A Center for Contemporary Arts, in Newark.
Deana Lawson and Lauren Greenfield, both faculty members, are in the group exhibition Converging Margins at the Center for Photography in Woodstock.
Marina Berio, Acting Chair of the General Studies Program, and faculty members, Jean-Christian Bourcart and Sam Samore are in the group exhibition Love, Love, Love at Martos Gallery November 6–December 6.
Fernando Afable, the founder of Foto Baryo, a photography school in the Phillippines, is featured in the article "'Old Magic' of Polaroid Manipulation."

October 2008

Andrew Lichtenstein, faculty member, has an exhibition Behind Bars at Fovea Exhibitions in Beacon, NY, October 25–January 4, 2009.
Laura Larson, faculty member, premiered her film Electric Girls and the Invisible World at the Athena Cinema in Athens, Ohio.
Deirdre Donohue, ICP Librarian and faculty member, will moderate a discussion "Dummies for Photographers: The Effects of DIY Books on Photographic Practice," as part of the ARLIS-NY Contemporary Artists' Book Conference, at the New York Public Library on October 25. Participants include alumni Victor Sira (GS '91) and Esther Levine (PJ '97). The discussion is conjunction with the ICP Education Gallery exhibition Book Dummies.
Joseph Rodriguez (GS '85), faculty member, has a new book Still Here: Stories After Katrina published by powerHouse. He will be signing books at the Museum Store on Friday, November 21.

September 2008

Carlos Motta, faculty member, has launched the website for The Good Life, a multi-part video project commissioned by Art in General. A companion book is also available.
Nayland Blake, ICP-Bard Program Chair, is in the Fall 2008 issue of BOMB (#105) in discussion with Rachel Harrison.
Wayne Liu, staff member, has a portfolio of work featured in the September issue (#16) of Foam Magazine.
Andre Lambertson, faculty member, has an exhibition Mourning Stories from Which We Rise at the Corcoran Gallery of Art through October 12.
Nancy Davenport, faculty member, was commissioned by the Liverpool Biennial to create work for its International 08 Exhibition MADE UP, which is on view September 20–November 30.
Carol Dragon, faculty member, is featured in the New York Alumni–RISD Biennial 2008 at the Old American Can Factory in Brooklyn September 11–28.
Anthony Hamboussi, faculty member, is featured in the exhibition Degrees of Remove: Landscape and Affect at the Sculpture Center September 7–November 30.
Bill Armstrong, faculty member, has an exhibition Photo Mandalas: Bill Armstrong and Milan Fano Blatný at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, September 6–February 1, 2009.

August 2008

Bernard Yenelouis, faculty and staff member, will be exhibiting photographs made in collaboration with filmmaker Marie Losier at Luxe Gallery, September 8–October 8.

July 2008

Wayne Liu, staff member, is featured in the group exhibition China Goes: The Rise of a New World Power at the Noorderlicht Photogallery through September 7.
