Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Marketing Manager oversees projects that build the International Center of Photography brand and enhance the institution's reputation. The individual will manage the design and production of marketing and advertising materials within an integrated marketing communications environment. Major responsibilities include production, design and project management, copy writing, and ad buying.

Essential Functions

• Manage the design and production of all marketing collateral from concept to delivery
• Create and oversee all production schedules
• Serve as the primary contact for all internal marketing project requests
• Manage vendors including designers, printers, and mail houses
• Manage the production and media buying for print and online advertising
• With guidance from the Director of Marketing, oversee marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent visual identity and messaging
• Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing and advertising strategies
• Research and evaluate marketing trends and opportunities

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in marketing, advertising, and/or production
• Excellent editing and proofreading skills
• Strong project management background with the ability to handle multiple deadlines
• Solid technical skills, including working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
• Experience in media buying; knowledge of Google Adwords a plus
• Strong design sense and arts or photography background a plus
