Curatorial Intern

Department: Exhibitions
Schedule: 3–4 days per week, days can be flexible

DESCRIPTION

A curatorial intern, who is a highly motivated, energetic, and detail-oriented person, is needed. A background in contemporary art and Portuguese language skills are a must. This person will work with the curator on a large-scale show of contemporary photography. Tasks will include managing checklists, maintaining a database of artwork, working with our in house production team and assist with the production of an exhibition brochure. Should have at least a BA in art history, photographic history or a related field and be able to work at least three days a week.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED

Recent graduate or graduate student

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

Applicants should have Portuguese language skills, extremely organized and detail oriented, digitally skilled.
