DESCRIPTION
A curatorial intern is needed who is a highly motivated, energetic, and detail-oriented person with a good background in modern and contemporary art. This person will work with artists who will be featured in two large-scale group shows of contemporary photography, video, and mixed media art. Tasks will include corresponding with artists and art gallery personnel, building checklists and databases of art, working on a major catalogue, and doing research on individual artists. Should have at least a BA in art history, photographic history or a related field and be able to work at least three days a week.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
Mature undergraduate, recent graduate, or graduate student
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
Applicants should have great contemporary art/photography knowledge, extremely organized and detail oriented, digitally skilled.
